SEASONAL CHANGES IN AYURVEDA: SUMMER

SEASONAL CHANGES IN AYURVEDA: SUMMER

It all starts with a spark. Summer is here! Do you like the long, sunny days of summer? Is that something you'd want to experience more of in your life?

Maybe you're simply a hot weather junkie and can't get enough of it. Or do you fear the summer heat and make every effort to stay out of the direct rays of the sun?

Seasons come and go with their own individual personalities. Summer may either strengthen your internal harmony or irritate one of your intrinsic inclinations, depending on your constitution.

The winter may be their favorite season, but a person with a fiery temper who enjoys a chilly environment may find themselves feeling hotter than others when the summer heat increases.

When it comes to lengthy, cold winters, someone who can't manage to keep their body temperature up will find that the heat of the summer is a welcome relief. However, the seasons need not be a constant source of anxiety and joy.

Making an effort to live in unison with the natural cycles of nature and adapting our lifestyle and habits as the seasons change might help us maintain a better state of balance throughout the year..

While this may sound overwhelming at first, many individuals find that making the suggested seasonal modifications is easy and may have a significant impact on their well-being.

As stated in Ayurveda, "like promotes like" and "opposites balance." This explains why we feel distinct emotions throughout the summer months. If you know your constitution, you may adjust your internal landscape in a way that is more in tune with the ebb and flow of the changing seasons.
